location  Stellwagen (southeast corner, 32 miles from Gloucester)

WHALES 30+ Humpback Whales (including 4 mother and calf pairs), 4 Minke Whales, and 1 Finback Whale

BIRDS 1 Manx Shearwater, numerous Greater Shearwaters, Common Terns, Northern Gannets, Wilson’s Storm Petrels, and Bonaparte’s Gulls.

ADDITIONAL SIGHTINGS: 1 Basking Shark, 1 Blue Shark, and large schools of Blue-fin Tuna leaping at the surface.
