The M/V PRIVATEER
7 Seas Whale Watch also operates the PRIVATEER, the original whale watch boat on the east coast! While the Privateer IV is our main whale watching vessel, on special occasions and on days when the "P4" is sold out, we will sometimes offer a special trip aboard this classic whale watch boat.
The PRIVATEER is a 90-foot steel-hulled vessel with wide outside decks, a large, open stern, and a second level with plenty of seating.
One of the best aspects of the PRIVATEER is that is built much lower to the water than even the PRIVATEER IV (which has a low profile hull) so you are even closer to the water, and the whales, than on any other boat.
